Making sure your tyre is deflated to the correct pressure to match the terrain you're driving on is an important thing. 4x4 tyres are expensive, and the last thing you want is severe damage on your brand spanking new set of Mickey Thompsons because you had them pumped to the max and smashed down on a pointy rock!

Letting your tyres down also gives you the extra traction you need on those slippery surfaces. More rubber sits on the track giving you that extra grip you need to make it through.
